Igor

DVD Releases: You Won't Believe How it Ends

Not a bad selection of horror DVDs hitting on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009. The question is if any of them are actually worth getting.

Igor Coming Home This January

It didn’t do any kind of business to speak of at the box office, so I guess it’s not surprising that MGM isn’t dumping a lot of effort into the DVD release of Igor. MGM announced today that the disc will be out on January 20th and won’t have a helluva lot on it.

Exclusive Igor Clip!

Igor is out in theaters right now, and hopefully you guys have read our review and will be getting out to see it this weekend. To encourage you even further, we managed to procure an exclusive clip which showcases the sense of humor of both the movie and its creators.

    Igor (2008)

Reviewed by Nomad Featuring the voices of John Cusack, Myleene Klass, Robin Howard, Matt McKenna, John Cleese, Steve Buscemi Directed by Anthony Leondis

Video Dread Exclusive: Igor Writer & Director

A few weeks back myself and some of the East Coast Dread crew, including Nomad and the fantastic Heather Buckley, hit up the New York Comic Con to get our horror mugs filled to the brim with info. A lot of video came out of it, most of which features Heather chatting up horror celebs and asking some damn fine questions, but today we’re showing off our first finished piece: a chat with the writer and director of the upcoming animated film Igor!

    Switch Thrown on Igor Trailer

Striving to be more than just the little man who pulls the switch for the great inventor, Igor is setting out on his own to become a mad scientist in his own right. All that stands in his way are prejudices and another evil genius.

    Igor Invents a One Sheet

Today, thanks to IMP Awards, we got a chance to look at the first official one sheet for the upcoming CGI film Igor. Anthony Leondis may not have a lot of directorial experience with animated films, but I've got faith that the wealth of material available for him to draw from will be put to good use.

Toy Fair 08: Master Replicas' Igor & Halo

Last month we pointed you in the direction of the UK Toy Fair, where merchandise from the new CGI movie Igor was being shown off (“Igor and His Toys” – January 2008). Obviously the hunchbacked little scamp didn't stay overseas because he just showed up in New York!

    Igor and His Toys

Action-Figure has uploaded several photos of the toyline associated with The Weinstein Company’s CGI film Igor. I haven't really paid this new cartoon much mind, but it looks to have a pretty interesting casts for the voice acting (“Horror Clix Get a New Line” – October 2006). However, in my mind the real important thing isn't the movie, but the toys.

    Igor Gets Game

The upcoming CG animated monster comedy Igor, about a hunchback with aspirations to someday be a mad scientist, has signed a unique game deal with Interactive Game Group according to this morning’s Daily Variety.

    Corgi Gets Igor Toys

Ever heard of a toy company called Corgi International? The name doesn’t grab me either, but apparently they hold collectible rights for things like Batman, Harry Potter, and "Star Trek" and have now added the upcoming animated monster movie Igor to their roster.
