Unfortunately, one Sundance 2012 film that we didn't get a chance to see and review was Rodney Ascher's experimental documentary Room 237, which explores numerous theories about the real meaning of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, but thankfully IFC Films is about to make up for it.
Oh happy day! IFC Midnight is gearing up to release the stellar A Lonely Place to Die (which showed up on a few of our year-end "
Best of 2011" lists) on both DVD and Blu-ray on March 20th, 2012, and though no specs are available, we do have the official artwork right here waiting for you. Dig it!

Talk about starting the year off with a bang! That's exactly what's going to happen as IFC is poised to bring the stellar new flick The Kill List to to pre-theatrical VOD on January 4th, 2012. The film will also kick off the Film Society Lincoln Center's Scary Movies Festival, playing at the Walter Reade Theater Thursday, October 27th, at 9:15 pm.

One name we're always happy to see attached to a genre project is Adrien Brody since it usually means we're in store for one hell of an intense performance.
