I've been saying for years now that we need more monster movies! It seems people are listening, too! YAY! Anyway, enough soapboxing. Myriad Pictures has released the teaser art for the upcoming creature feature Hybrid, and you know we wouldn't let the day go by without offering you a look!

Last week we had a slew of new trailers to show off to you, one of which was for a new movie from Malefique/One Missed Call (remake) helmer Eric Vallette called Hybrid. Not to be confused with the monster movie of the same name, also in development, this Hybrid is about a predatorial car that eats people. Of course.

A whole slew of trailers have appeared on the official site for Voltage Pictures, the guys behind a lot of cool upcoming horror titles like Eduardo Sanchez’s Seventh Moon. Instead of boring you with multiple stories about one thing, how about one story about multiple things?

Though it’s been relatively quiet from the Studio 407 team as of late, that doesn’t mean nothing’s been going on. The comic company continues to develop its titles into flms through their partnership with Myriad Pictures, the first of which being the creature feature Hybrid. Today they named Cube: Zero helmer Ernie Barbarash as the director of Hybrid; a very good sign that things are moving along.

Those of you who follow comics closer that I’m able to may be familiar with the work of Studio 407; they’re one of the new kids on the comic publishing block but despite (or maybe because of)this they’ve just signed a first-look deal with Myriad Pictures to create live-action features based on their property, or so says The Hollywoo
