Hugh Jackman Up for FACE/OFF Remake with Ryan Reynolds

Twitter has been begging for a remake of John Woo’s silly-ass shoot ’em up Face/Off for years now. More specifically, the internet’s been hunting for a remake with Ryan Reynolds (Definitely, Maybe) and Hugh Jackman (Kate & Leopold).

And today Jackman teased that he’s up for it … as long as Reynolds stays the hell away from him. Jackman says: “Is it possible to shoot it where we’re never actually together? I’m open to that.” Watch the full interview below.

Obviously, he’s joking. But all the same, would you be up for a remake of Face/Off with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman? Make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!

Rated R intense sequences of strong violence and for strong language, the film tells the tale of an FBI agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) obsessed with bringing terrorist Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) to justice. When Archer severely injures Troy, he undergoes surgery to swap their faces and use his disguise to elicit information about a bomb from Troy’s brother. Things get all slow-motion-y and dove-filled once Troy awakes from a coma and forces the doctor to give him Archer’s face.

Rated R intense sequences of strong violence and for strong language, it sports a 92% over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: John Travolta and Nicolas Cage play cat-and-mouse (and literally play each other) against a beautifully stylized backdrop of typically elegant, over-the-top John Woo violence.
