On September 21st The Fall, the second chapter in Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan's Strain Trilogy, is being released by HarperCollins, and the publisher is making five autographed copies available to Dread Central readers.

Filmmaker Gregory (Slime City Massacre) Lamberson also has a successful side job writing the horror novel series The Jake Helman Files. Volume One, Personal Demons, is getting a sequel, entitled Desperate Souls, which is being released as a trade paperback on October 1st.

I think I can say without too much reserve that Halloween is the horror fan's Christmas. So, when I start seeing Halloween items in stores in August, I take note because you just never know what goodies you might find, and of course I want to share my recent discoveries with Dread Central readers.

Author Rick Florino continues his Dolor mystery/horror novella series with Dolor: Arielle - Book III, out September 27th via New American Deities.
