This writer got a sneak peek during a private screening held earlier this week at the ‘W’ Hotel in Hollywood, CA, of director Clint Lien's psycho-thriller Behind Your Eyes, and while this won't be a full-fledged review as the film is in the final stages of color correction and editing, we have been covering the production from the beginning (see our set report from this past January here) so here’s a brief tease.
Following up on our news item last week regarding executive producer Greg H. Sims’ home-invasion thriller Behind Your Eyes, this scribe contacted Sims to get the 411 on the Southern California-shooting production. Written by Daniel Fanaberia and directed by Clint Lien, Behind Your Eyes is the first in-house feature for new production and distribution entity Vesuvio Entertainment Corporation, of which Sims is CEO (not Tri Coast as originally reported).
The home invasion thriller with a twist, Behind Your Eyes, has finally landed itself a director to bring this captive tale of terror to life.
Kidnappings can be a harrowing experience. Just think of how helpless you would feel if some crazy or group of crazies decided that there would be nothing finer than capturing you and your significant others, killing them before your eyes, and making you wait those long seconds before you're offed yourself. True, that is the worst case scenario, but it's frighteningly possible.
County Road K is an upcoming home invasion flick from first-time director Philip Gelatt. While we don't know much about it at this point, keep reading for the earliest details.
The posters for Bryan Bertino’s home invasion flick called The Strangers have been getting increasingly creepy as the theatrical release date draws closer. If you've been taking the bus, then it is pretty likely that you've seen what IMP Awards found below.
On May 30th, 2008, we’ll finally get a chance to allow our eyeballs to feast on The Strangers, the home invasion movie starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. The film has been delayed various times for multiple reasons, so personally I’m just glad it’s finally getting out in theaters!
The very cool folks at Rogue Pictures sent us over a batch of 20 stills from the upcoming May 30th release of The Strangers, which stars Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. Bryan Bertino wrote and directed the home invasion thriller that we’ve been looking forward to for a while now. Hopefully it’ll live up to its creepy ad campaign so far. Keep it here for more Strangers updates and visit the official Strangers site for more goodies! Enjoy the pics below!
It’s not quite as effective as the original poster, I don’t think, but it does get some points for subtle freakiness.
We've just uploaded an exclusive video to the Video Dread which features two scenes from Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo's super sick home invasion flick Inside (DVD review). I highly doubt this is safe for work, so click with caution! Below our exclusive is the DVD trailer for the movie as well!
If you've never been the victim of a home invasion, then count yourself lucky. Do you have any idea what it's like when a group of masked psychos barge into your house, start throwing hacky sacks at you and yell odd things like, "I cast fire ball spell"?
Though it’s been floating out there with its off-putting imagery for a few months now, we’ve yet to hear an official release strategy for Bryan Baertino’s The Strangers until now, if you can believe it.
Just who are The Strangers? I’ve been asking myself the same thing since the first time I heard about this movie; now I know.
