It seems rather coincidental that earlier this week Dread Central had the opportunity to speak with Hitchcock director Sacha Gervasi while we're in the midst of celebrating Indie Horror Month right now.

Hitchcock hits Blu-ray and DVD today (look for a review soon), and to celebrate its arrival, we have a look inside the home video package for you, which should help you determine whether or not you should stop at that lonely motel at the side of the road.

According to our friends over at Blu-ray.com, Fox Searchlight has announced the home video release date for Hitchcock, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins in the title role and Helen Mirren, who's been nominated for several awards already, as his wife. Look for it in stores on March 12th.

A new batch of photos has arrived that shows off Hitchcock's version of the cast members from Psycho--Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, and James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins--as well as a few others.

Hitchcock will be released worldwide by Fox Searchlight Pictures in a few weeks, on November 23rd to be exact, and the third and final poster for the film landed in our inbox today - just in time for Halloween!

Me? I go to the movies in the afternoon when no one is there, if only to avoid sitting in a crowded room full of schmucks who are texting the people sitting right friggin' next to them. It's truly annoying and the master of suspense tends to agree.
