Heartless

As mentioned earlier, a bit of Fantastic Fest is coming home thanks to IFC Midnight, and to celebrate, the trailer debut for High Lane (or Vertige for you purists out there) has come online.

Some pretty great news has come in for those of us who don't have the funds or the time off from work to attend this year's Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas: IFC Midnight, the new genre label of IFC Films, has announced that four brand new IFC Midnight acquisitions screening at Fantastic Fest (Sept. 23-30) will simultaneously be available nationwide via the movies-on-demand platform.

One film that's been kicking around for a while now will soon be gracing the big screens at the Fantasia Film Festival 2010 and we've got two one-sheets for it that are absolutely Heartless!

While we love giving away copies of films on the site, we also realize that sometimes memorabilia means just as much (if not more) to genre fans. With that in mind, to celebrate the upcoming release of Philip Ridley’s excellent horror-fantasy hybrid Heartless (review here), we have three pieces of DVD artwork signed by stars Jim Sturgess and Noel Clarke up for grabs!

The second trailer for Philip Ridley's tale of demonic mayhem Heartless debuted online today, giving us yet another good look at the flick we're all pretty damned excited about.

Fantasporto 2010, Portugal’s leading film festival, just concluded on March 6th, and not only did the UK's Heartless (review here) receive the Best Film Award, but several other horror films garnered awards as well, including Audience Favorite Solomon Kane.

Yahoo! Movies UK has premiered the official trailer for Philip Ridley's tale of demonic mayhem Heartless, giving us the first good look at the flick we've all been waiting for.

Here's the smallest window between a theatrical exhibition and a home video release that I've ever heard of. Heartless, starring Jim Sturgess, will be hitting UK theaters on May 21, followed by a immediate boot to video on May 24. Read on for the skinny.

The trades are reporting today that UK production venture CinemaNX has committed itself to three new projects, one of which is a horror movie called Heartless that will topline 21 star Jim Sturgess.
