Oh, man, Stephen King fans are in heaven right now. Along with the release of his new novel Under the Dome (look for a review soon) has come the news that Dome is heading to HBO. In addition, we now know the tentative title of the eighth installment of King's Dark Tower series as well as getting an update on the status of an adaptation of Cell.

Alan Ball & True Blood Writers Reveal Some Season 3 Details
Last night the Paley Center hosted a panel entitled "Inside the Writers Room: True Blood", and representing the HBO series were creator/executive producer Alan Ball along with writer's assistant Elisabeth Finch, script coordinator Kate Barnow, co-executive producer Brian Buckner, co-executive producer Nancy Oliver, supervising producer Alexander Woo, and producer Raelle Tucker. Lindsey Haun Cast as Sookie's Cousin on True Blood

Television Critics Association Recognizes True Blood
It may have been mostly shunned by the Emmys (garnering only Outstanding Art Direction, Casting, and Main Title Design nominations from them), but HBO's "True Blood" got the recognition it so richly deserves from the Television Critics Association over this past weekend.
