Hardware
It is time again to get abducted to South Africa's Celludroid Film Festival! In addition to a wide range of exciting sci-fi, anime, and fantasy movies, this year will feature special visiting guest director Richard Stanley (with his movies, documentaries, short films, and new book), and for the first time short film collections will be part of the line-up.

The day is finally here! Severin's much anticipated DVD & Blu-ray release of Richard Stanley's 1990 sci-fi/horror epic Hardware is upon us and to celebrate this long-time coming occasion Iggy Pop recreates his cameo role from the flick as the world's most irritated DJ - Angry Bob!
Another great selection of DVDs hits store shelves this week (it's obviously October!) including one of the year's most fun films, Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell; the long-awaited Richard Stanley classic Hardware; Blu-rays of The Craft, Killer Movie, and Midnight Movie; and for the Robert Pattinson completists there's The Haunted Airman, a BBC television movie that was filmed five years ago and aired in the UK in 2006.
In preparation for Severin's much anticipated October 13th DVD & Blu-ray release of Richard Stanley's 1990 sci-fi/horror epic Hardware, they have produced an exclusive new promo featuring Lemmy of Motörhead. Lemmy recreates his cameo role from the flick as a cabdriver recalling nostalgic memories from the past as he drives through a now dystopian wasteland.
This is a freaking GREAT season for horror fans. It's true that every fall sees the release of some great genre titles, but with films like The Stepfather, Messiah of Evil (making its first non-budget DVD debut), and, of course, Hardware receiving quality releases, it's truly a cause for celebration. Today Severin Films is attempting to whet our palates with a snippet from the 60-minute documentary offered on their Hardware disc...
The artwork for Richard Stanley's long sought after film Hardware has finally surfaced, and we kind of dig the minimalist approach even though, once again, there was nothing wrong with the original artwork to begin with.
Someone pinch us. We have to be dreaming! Wait ... we are awake? Badass! Joining the likes of Phantasm II and Night of the Creeps on the movies we never thought would see an official release onto DVD ever -- BUT ARE list is the Richard Stanley 1990 sci-fi/horror cult classic Hardware!
