E3 2014: Halo: The Master Chief Collection RevealAs the hatch opens and the vastness of the dead calm of space is revealed, the serenity of it all is so overwhelming. But this is Master Chief, and he’s carrying a spacemine. This was the precursor to a massive explosion in the trailer unleashed by Microsoft during their E3 press conference for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Microsoft’s powerhouse event was anchored by the announcement of this upcoming cornerstone of the Xbox One lineupm which is to be in your hungry hands on November 11, 2014, for just $59.99.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a remix and next-gen update of Halo titles one to four, all seamlessly integrated into one game.

Just when things couldn’t get any better, Dan Ayad took the stage and had some major news.

Coupling the advantage of having all four Halo games on one disc with the diminutive attention span of the Twitter generation, players will be able to make a play list of favorites from all four Halo titles. This will allow you to play your favorite moments during the history of the franchise while skipping anything you feel isn’t worth a second look.

The other landmark news delivered by Ayad was that the signature multiplayer from Halo 2 will be available in its original form in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

What is very big contextually about the announcement is that Microsoft has answered back to the problems they have been having of operating at the graphical level of Sony’s PS4: Halo: The Master Chief Collection will run at full 1080P in a glorious 60 frames per second.

And the news just wouldn’t stop, Halo 5: Guardians will be in beta later this year.
