The name Tim Seeley is one that always perks up the ears of horror fans. His artwork is among the best out there, and we can't get enough of his projects like Hack/Slash and Loaded Bible. The other day we reported that the release date for Matt Pizzolo's Godkiller "illustrated film" was being pushed back a week to October 6th due to the quantity of retail orders Halo-8 had received for the DVD. We should all have such problems, right? In any event, to help fuel our anticipation, the company has debuted the box art and special features that await us on October 6th.

Halo-8 Entertainment has unveiled the DVD box art for its upcoming film In a Spiral State, the metaphysical, psychedelic, drug-addled sci-fi/horror film directed by award-winning filmmaker Ramzi Abed. The film comes to DVD on September 29th and is now available for pre-order.

Halo-8 Entertainment is kicking copious amounts of ass when it comes to the innovative animation technique known as "illustrated filmmaking", and upon completion of their recently announced upcoming Loaded Bible project, they will next be producing the horror/sci-fi adventure Xombie: Reanimated created by James Farr.

Halo-8 Entertainment has secured the rights for award-winning director Matt Pizzolo and Emmy-winning producer Brian Giberson to create an "illustrated film" adaptation of Loaded Bible: Jesus vs. Vampires, a post-nuke horror comic book published by Image Comics and created by Tim Seeley. A 2010 theatrical release is planned for the film.

As announced previously, Halo-8 Entertainment will be releasing its Godkiller: Walk Among Us "illustrated film" series in the form of bi-monthly, episodic DVDs. Additionally, we've learned that each of the three DVDs will come packaged with a serialized audiobook of the prequel novel Godkiller: Silent War, written by the film's award-winning writer/director Matt Pizzolo.

Halo-8 Entertainment has announced that Pop Skull will be its first "day and date" DVD/digital film release, timed with the official launch of Halo-8's VOD website Televandalism (in beta since 2008), which offers VOD-streaming subscriptions (all streaming titles for a total subscription of $.99 per month) or DVD-quality downloads ($9.99 each, with instructions for porting them to your TV) of films, comics, fitness/lifestyle videos, webisodes, and video games.
