Hack/Slash
The road to bring Hack/Slash to the big screen has been an arduous one to traverse. It's been several years now, and finally it sounds as if there's some solid movement. Movement filled with lens flares and the color orange.
During Halo-8's San Diego Comic-Con panel, the actress who will be playing Cassie Hack in their Hack/Slash illustrated film was introduced, and we couldn't be more pleased to inform you that it is genre favorite Brea Grant.
You want badass? You've got badass! Big news coming out of Comic-Con today that's actually related to a comic! Who would have thought of such a thing?!?!

A bit of Hack/Slash news has trickled in regarding the big screen adaptation of the Devil's Due comics. Looks like the project has finally nabbed itself a director.
Since the news about Eve broke a few days ago, the Internet genre sites have been rife with talk about its similarity to another project that is in the works called Hack/Slash. Eve creator Brian Metcalf has spoken out about the situation.
While we all sit idly by waiting for Relativity/Rogue Pictures to get off of their asses and turn the live action adaptation of Tim Seeley's comic Hack/Slash into a reality, Ratio Pictures is ready to serve us up a healthy serving of a similar character to the fearless Cassie Hack.
Sounds to me like actor Nick Principe is trying to make himself a career of being a slasher. Not a bad gig if you can get it!
Halloween is the time for free goods, and we're not talking about free candy! A special crossover comic featuring Hack/Slash Vs Halloween Man (official site) will be available for FREE on October 15th!

A press release rolled in today with some rather odd news regarding Hack/Slash's current storyline involving Herbert West, the Re-Animator. It seems a newly formed company called Re-Animator LLC has filed a Cease and Desist letter with the comic's distributor, Diamond Comic Distributors.
