If there's one filmmaker who's a big favorite around the Dread Central offices, it's without question the great Guillermo del Toro. With several really high profile films in the works, including the long awaited At the Mountains of Madness, the man sure has a lot on his plate and a lot to say about it as well.
Hold the presses, kids. It seems as if we may have written Tom Cruise off just a little too soon when it comes to starring in Guillermo del Toro's film adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness.
If there's one movie we are dying to see around these parts, it's Guillermo del Toro's take on the Seventies TV scare-a-thon Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Being big fans of the original and of course del Toro himself, there's no reason not to be excited! For fans overseas the good news just keeps on coming.

The Fall, the second chapter in Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan's Strain Trilogy, was released by HarperCollins last week, and the publisher has shared with us a great video interview of del Toro discussing the book and the vampire lore that inspired him.
