Our good buddies across the pond at Grimm Up North in Manchester, England, are putting on two special screenings this month: SEVENTIES SCI-FI SPECIAL featuring John Carpenter’s Dark Star and a documentary on the film, Let There Be Light: The Legacy of Dark Star, followed a few days later by a double bill of Dario Argento’s Four Flies on Grey Velvet and Michele Soavi’s Dellamorte Dellamore.
Horror fans have two new Christmas classics to watch this holiday season in the form of Jalmari Helander's Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale and Dick Maas' Saint (aka Sint or Saint Nick). Two more films have been added to the 2011 Grimm Up North lineup - one old and one new - that really have us wishing we lived in the UK. Joining the previously announced Stalker are Lucky McKee's controversial The Woman and David Cronenberg's classic adaptation of Stephen King's The Dead Zone.
