New Trailer for Shark Horror GREAT WHITE Starring Katrina Bowden

RLJE Films and Shudder acquired the North American rights to the survival horror film, Great White from Altitude Film Sales. Look for it in select theaters and VOD platforms beginning July 16th. Shudder will stream Great White later this year.

Synopsis:
A blissful tourist trip quickly turns into a nightmare when five passengers on a seaplane become stranded miles from shore. In a desperate bid for survival the group try to make it to land before they either run out of supplies or are taken by a menacing terror lurking just beneath the surface.
Written by Michael Boughen (Dying Breed) and directed by Martin Wilson in his feature debut. Great White stars Katrina Bowden (Piranha 3DD, 30 Rock), Aaron Jakubenko (Tidelands), Kimie Tsukakoshi (Riptide), Tim Kano (Neighbours), and Te Kohe Tuhaka (Love and Monsters, The Dead Lands).
Inspired by true events, Great White follows seaplane operators and lovers, Kaz Fellows (Katrina Bowden) and Charlie Brody (Aaron Jakubenko) who take a flight to the picturesque Hell’s Reef along with their passengers, Joji Minase (Tim Kano), his wife Michelle (Kimie Tsukakoshi) and cook Benny (Te Kohe Tuhaka).

It isn’t long though before their idyllic trip turns into a living hell. They become abandoned miles from shore and in grave danger from what lurks just below the surface. Their only chance of making it out alive is to get to the beach. But with two Great White sharks hunting them, the odds are not in their favor.
