Paul Davis Updates Us on S.C.U.M. and Gladiators vs. WerewolvesBeware the Moon director Paul Davis has his horror-loving hands into a lot of things in the UK, including we hear an especially gory cameo in the upcoming flick Burke and Hare that fans are really gonna dig, but today the young filmmaker took some time out of his schedule to update us on two projects he’s been working on — S.C.U.M. and Gladiators vs. Werewolves.

“Right now I’m doing 4th draft revisions on my story called ‘S.C.U.M’ (part of the Habeus Corpus anthology), which was written by the very talented Ben Woodiwiss,” says Davis. “It’s about a female art student who becomes … ‘enamored’ I guess is the right word for it … with the ideologies of men being murdered for the sake of art. It’s different from the other stories, which is what I think attracted me to it in the first place. It’s going to be bloody, but I’m also approaching it with a ‘less is more’ kind of attitude. Trust me, though, I challenge any guy to sit through this thing and not squirm!”

Also on his plate is one movie we know Foy can’t wait to get his hands on — Gladiators vs. Werewolves.

“It is happening,” Davis continues. “From my understanding we kick it off around November. A lot of exciting things going on. Shaune Harrison, who is currently working on Captain America for Marvel, has done some wonderful work so far on the werewolf designs and sculpts. These are some badass looking werewolves. I mean, if you’ve seen the poster, that’s how they look in person. All I have to do now is get my arse in shape.”

Look for more soon!
