Who needs all of the "he said, she said" headaches circling Ghostbusters 3? It's as if everyone involved forgot how much fun the movie and the experience was! Well ... everyone but us fans and comedy troupe Improv Everywhere.

You know, in retrospect, if Katie and Micah had had some tiny plastic Ghostbusters figures with them, they might have stood a better chance against that nasty demon who was haunting them literally to death in the box office smash Paranormal Activity. At the very least Venkmen. He had moxie!

We've got some more Ghostbusters 3 news to kick off your work week. This time it's from actor Bill Murray, who addresses the major spoiler actress Sigourney Weaver let fly while promoting her little movie that no one saw called Avatar.

Art Asylum has released the details on another Ghostbusters Minimates collection, and this one rounds out their Toys R Us Villains Series 3.

The top-selling Ghostbusters Minimate line continues with this latest 4-pack of Ghostbusters, associates, and menaces. This set includes the marshmallow-covered Gooey Egon and Gooey Winston from the original film as well as the sequel's Janine Melnitz and EPA lawyer Walter Peck.

Who you gonna call? The Ghostbusters are back in Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the PSP, featuring the voices and in-game likenesses of Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson in an original story penned by the writers of the original films, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.

We've got Slimer, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and even an angry Stay Puft on the way as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. Now Diamond Select Toys rounds out its rotocast bank collection with the iconic Ghostbusters logo.

In the beginning there was NECA ... and NECA created the Terror Dogs and Gozer and even Slimer ... but something was missing. The boys in grey could not be made real. Some said it was likeness rights, plain and simple. Some said Bill Murray demanded an orphan child in exchange for the rights.

It's a bumper crop of DVD releases this week, but the cream is definitely the Friday the 13th blow-out and Ghostbusters on Blu-ray. Even so, there are several other interesting sounding offerings as well, so dive in and do some shopping!

Who wouldn't be down for some spectre stomping action right in the palm of your hands?!? Get ready to dig on Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the Nintendo DS, and don't blame us if your hands get all slimy!

We've seen the cover, heard Alyssa Milano talk about it, and watched a couple of trailers. Now it's time to battle and bust ghosts in the multiplayer mode trailer!
