Most people go on vacation to relax. It seems writer/director Tom Shankland went on vacation only to find inspiration for his next horror project. After all, it was while on a holiday with friends that he found some creepy inspiration for his latest film, The Children (review here).

Early sales art for four of Lionsgate's big Halloween '09 releases has surfaced, showcasing the second batch of DVD's and Blu-rays in their Ghost House Underground line, and there are a couple of winners in the mix!

The trailer for Seventh Moon from co-director of The Blair Witch Project Ed Sanchez hit online today, and it looks pretty friggin' crazed!

With the ten-year anniversary of The Blair Witch Project upon us, I still cannot believe we haven't gotten a decent anniversary DVD or Blu-ray out of Lionsgate. Talk about a missed opportunity, man! Oh well, at least the 'Gate will be giving us director Ed Sanchez's Seventh Moon later this year via Sam Raimi's Ghost House Underground label.

When the announcement came that Ghost House Pictures was releasing its own line of edgy horror films under a new label called Ghost House Underground, we were pretty intrigued. Could they get away from their usual ultra-shiny PG-13 flavored spookfests long enough to successfully drop some real horror on us? Well, you're about to find out.
