It seems that Trembles decided to do what a substantial number of other horror fans did (judging by box office receipts): basically ignore Rob Zombie's Halloween II and just move on. And so, instead of piling more venom on H2, this week's Motion Picture Purgatory tackles the testosterone-fueled Gamer.
Neveldine and Taylor are back this weekend with another high-adrenaline uber-violent bit of smash mouth cinema for you to enjoy and we've got the verdict on whether you should head to theatres or just stay home and play Halo.

As a gamer, the new trailer for Lionsgate's Gamer, starring Gerard Butler and Michael C. Hall, makes me wish such technology would be possible. Can you imagine actually controlling another person to do whatever you want? Of course I'd just keep my dude going to In-N-Out Burger for me, but still!
Once again MySpace is home to the online debut of some exclusive video footage, this time from Lionsgate's upcoming high octane thriller Gamer starring Gerard Butler and Michael C. Hall.
It may be on the fringe of horror, but we're still throwing our support behind Gamer. With Neveldine/Taylor, Gerard Butler, and Michael C. Hall all involved, how can we not?

The Nicole Kidman thriller The Visting, which I just cannot find myself getting excited for in the least, has been pushed to November 2nd, 2007. Seems there are others who didn’t find it too exciting either.
