It's been several months since we've gotten any sort of update on the Diablo Cody produced film version of S.G. Browne's debut novel, Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament, but today the Internet is buzzing with the news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson are "loosely attached" to the project.
It was last February when we first heard that Diablo Cody would be producing the film version of S.G. Browne's debut novel, Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament, and finally she provided an update on the project this weekend during Showtime's presentation to the Television Critics Association (for her United States of Tara).
The bipedal land dwellers who are behind the entity known as Production Weekly have learned of a new project being produced by Diablo Cody, screenwriter of Juno and the upcoming Jennifer’s Body. It’s called Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament, and will be adapted from the debut novel of the same name from S.G. Browne, which is shipping out to book stores on March 3rd. The story sounds a bit on the trite side, but if done well it could be a lot of fun…
