The big screen adaptation of Constantine ... well ... sucked. With the exception of Peter Stormare's all too short stint as Satan himself, there's really not a lot of good to say about the movie. But what of its possible sequel?

A couple of weeks ago we brought you the unseen I Am Legend creatures that literally made us cringe at the thought of what they had been replaced with. Now something else I Am Legend related is ready to not be seen ... its proposed prequel.

Yep, prepare to be annoyed. Before we get to that, though, you may be wondering why we're covering the Will Smith flick I Am Legend years after its release. Believe me we're just as shocked. Still, something really cool has surfaced online that should not be ignored.

I Am Legend is probably one of the biggest continuing disappointments in Hollywood history; not a single adaptation has come close to capturing the feeling of the Richard Matheson novel it was based on. Now Hollywood’s taking it one step further and prequelizing it, just to make sure moviegoers are never able to take this post-apocalyptic world too seriously.

For reasons perhaps only the gods truly understand, Warner Bros. has begun to speed up the development of the proposed prequel to I Am Legend with Will Smith set to return as scientist Francis Neville and Francis Lawrence back in the director's chair, according to Variety.

As Comic Con rolls on, the boys over at STYD got their ears tuned to two somewhat sad and disturbing bits of info; the remake of Suspiria is still moving forward, and a prequel to I Am Legend is in the works.

Warner Home Video has announced the DVD release date and specs for I Am Legend (review), the long awaited but somewhat disappointing latest adaptation of the Richard Matheson novel of the same name. If it only weren’t for all those damn CG beasts, it could’ve been a lot creepier…

Once again the old adage “If you cast Will Smith, they will come” has been proven this weekend; Francis Lawrence’s I Am Legend (review) has pulled in an estimated $76.5 million for its opening weekend, more than pretty much any projections had estimated.

What’s with this sudden trend of putting up the opening minutes of a film online? Whatever happened to good old-fashioned clips?

With I Am Legend looming closer and closer on the horror horizon there's been a bit of speculation as to what the film's creatures will look like. Speculate no more.

CHUD's Devin Faraci has informed readers that he knows Will Smith's upcoming horror pic I Am Legend has undergone some reshoots as late as last week. That's cutting it pretty close seeing as this film launches next month on the 14th.

The second trailer for Will Smith's "last man on Earth" film I Am Legend was leaked earlier today to Worst Previews, but Warner Bros. announced that it was actually the international trailer and requested they remove it.
