Spider One and Krsy Fox Explain The Nuances In Their New Horror Film ‘Bury The Bride’

Bury The Bride

Spider One, frontman of rock band Powerman 5000, made his directorial debut with Allegoria, a horror anthology about the pain of being an artist. And he’s already back on the horror scene with his new film Bury The Bride, co-written and starring his partner Krsy Fox. Now don’t go in expecting Allegoria. This is a very different film, full of shadows and handheld cameras that only amplifies its terror.

Bury The Bride follows June (Scout Taylor-Compton), her sister Sadie (Fox), and her best friends at her bachelorette party. Isolating at a rural cabin, the group prepares to party and talk shit about June’s husband-to-be. But when he shows up with a group of his friends, the night takes a very sinister turn.

Dread Central spoke with Spider One and Fox about subverting horror tropes, terrifying desert spiders, and sisterhood.
