Ugh. What an assemblage of bland, unrealistic characters.
Nancy a Goth chick? Glen a host of the school podcast? Rod a member of the fucking swimteam? At which school in America do these kids attend?

I didn't realize how easy it was to judge characters from a script review. Right on!
The whole "Did Freddy actually do it?" bit has me completely sold. That is an excellent fresh way to reboot the series. It adds a whole other level to it.
Color me interested.

Eh. This is the only Wes Craven movie that I feel would not benefit from somebody else directing it.
The review did not tell me nearly enough to write it off nor get excited so I will go my usual route for remakes; write it off unless it comes out and everybody raves about how great it is.

Look. I know it's just a script review. Things change. It's colored by one person's opinions towards it. But with the pieces they have here, and considering PD's track record as of late...well, let's just say I'm glad I've never been a big fan of Freddy.
