I also enjoyed the first one and from what Johnny told me this one sounds like it might be pretty good. -Clark

I had a blast with the first one in the theater and promptly snapped up the DVD the day it was released. It was good old unpretentious backwoods horror with decent acting, good cinematography and inventively nasty kills. Good stuff all around. Though I'm extremely dubious about the sequel, I'll give it a chance -- can't pass up seeing Rollins kick ass onscreen.

Color Me Retarded, but I am looking forward to this. I did enjoy the first one, and will give this one the benefit of the doubt.

Cannibal Killers, I got a soft spot for em.

I supplied the production with a dozen or so Battle Royale t-shirts. I was told one of the main characters wears it throughout the film... Did the shirt make the final cut Johnny??? -shawn

Stan Winston isnīt involved with the film? Sad
Maybe they thought using real inbred hillbillies would be cheaper than having Stan Winston supply the make up. Wink

Matthew Currie Holmes who plays the reality show's director was wearing one the day I visited the set.

The shirt gets featured prominently during one of the kills.

I have kept an open mind to DTV since "Dagon", but only time will tell.

There's different kinds of DTV releases. DAGON was a Spanish film and released theatrically in many European countries. It went DTV in America because Lion's Gate make some odd choices sometimes. WRONG TURN 2 on the other hand is a sequel to a theatrical film made by the same studio that released said theatrical film. It's quite the difference. This should be around the same kind of "quality" as HOLLOW MAN 2, WILD THINGS 2-3, CRUEL INTENTIONS 2 and the aforementioned I'LL ALWAYS KNOW ... Maybe we'll at least get a few nasty kills? Seriously, these are low budget direct to DVD flicks and I'm sure they are going for an R rating with it so why hold back? The pressure of a theatrical release is off, the pressure of a big budget is off, the pressure of name actors is off ... GO FUCKING CRAZY!

Yes, the BR1 logo is featured prominently in the film (BR is one of my fav films so a proper nod was due)...even gets a little blood splashed on it...well more than a little. Bon apetit...and Shawn, thanks for the T's to use...so glad we got the logo in the film!
