Did anyone else check out this movie on Sci-Fi about a month ago? It's not a Sci-Fi original, and I was pretty damn happy with what came out of it.
Had some good gore and a couple truly creepy moments in it. |

It was at least better than Sasquatch (sp?). It was pretty decent, but I didn't like the design of the creature, just didn't click with me...

Saw it theatrically at its premiere with a full crowd that was completely into it -- it's wall-to-wall fun.

| I was really glad to see the face-chomping scene made it into the TV cut. Seeing Combs and Henriksen play off each other (briefly) made me wish they'd do something else together, in larger roles. |

Watched the Sci-Fi channel edit last night.
Yep, definately fun stuff with no pretense. I have a lot of love for this film. It plays to convention and cliche' but in a smart and respectful way. I KNOW that Ryan Schiffrin is a fan when I watch this. I absolutely cannot wait to see what he does next. People like Schiffrin and Rolfe Kanefsky are raising the bar on lower budget horror flicks.

Anchor Bay will be releasing ABOMINABLE on DVD this October 3rd!
The DVD will also include a making-of documentary, deleted scenes, bloopers, trailers, commentary tracks and more. |
