Absolutely. To me, they're as different as science fiction and horror. There are connections, but a crime story need not be a mystery, and vice-versa.

Haven't read Westlake/Stark yet. I'm on it.

I think he has a short story collection coming out next, so hopefully we will get some Kenzie and Gennaro stuff in there.
