Hey Folks -
Lurker finally posting.
Been in love with the scary stuff since George Pal scared the bejeesus outta me with the Medusa in Seven Face of Dr. Lao (5 year old at the time, I think). Grew up with the Universals, Hammer films, Kolshak, as well as readin' Poe, Lovecraft, King, etc. Love it all, but lately I'm just more demanding. I want a little brain inside the skulls, as well as splattered on the walls. ;D
I've been active on horror discussion lists, but since DC is my first-stop for news & reviews, I thought it was about time I dipped into the forums here.
I also make movies. Had a few festival shorts, and I'm finishing up our first horror feature. Those interested can scope the website: www.swordandcloak.com.
Best to all, _________________ David Schmidt

Some people keep pickles in the basement. _________________ "Sigh. Malachi, Conan is a fictional character, Dungeon Masters are real, hard-working people..." - Chainsaw

Hey there. Nice to meet ya. Sounds like we have the same influences.
I tried the link but it says page not found. Don't know if it's my 'puter or your link. _________________ Close the case before the coffin. |

Others keep drifters ... and/or cheerleaders. |

*chuckle* So sorry. Here, let me put in that essential "." in .com.
Others just have that old sewer-grate that they toss things into. It feeds whatever is making those noises down there...

| I'd want one of those old sewer grates in my house, just for the aesthetic appeal, but I'd be too afraid of falling in and not being able to climb out to actually go and do anything about it. |

If you cleanse the grate with fire, it makes a nice grill. _________________ "Sigh. Malachi, Conan is a fictional character, Dungeon Masters are real, hard-working people..." - Chainsaw
