I just recently purchased a PS2, my first next-gen system besides N64. While the games are graphically amazing and more involved, I still find myself playing my old SNES system and emulator A LOT more. Nintendo got it exactly right with this system. The colors and graphics just killed Genesis, they had the best characters of any system, and absolutely some of the greatest games of all time. Im talking RPGs, Action-Adventures, racing, fighting...etc. The first time I played Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat on my own TV I thought I was in little kid heaven. Super Metroid ruined all other games afterwards for me. To this day I play Chrono Trigger and Earthbound simultaneously (save one game, shut it off, turn on the next) every summer. And I won't go off too much on the music, but goddamn its good. Super Mario World, the Final Fantasies, Legend of the Mystical Ninja, U.N. Squadron, Super Ghouls and Ghosts, Mega Man X - X3... ok, pretty much any Capcom game has badass music. Even Aladdin sounded great. I just love that Nintendo's GBA is still catering to these classic style games. The GBA remakes, re-hashes, remixes...whatever, of all the classic Super Mario Bros. games are insanely awesome.
...forget Tekken, DoA, San Andreas, and Madden. Give me WeaponLord, Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters, Mario Kart, and Tecmo Super Bowl. _________________ yer a towel |

I still have my SNES and despite improved graphics and all,in my mind,nothing will touch this gaming system.
I'll take Zelda with a side order of MK1,2,&&3,thank you very much. _________________ {11.20.2007-->R.I.P., Ambeah.}

Bleccchh! Super Nintendo was never inferior to SEGA, ever (except for the bloody version of MK). SEGA was terrible. Lunar and Phantasy Star were just two of their pathetic RPG titles. SNES can go on for days with their catalog of classics. Chrono Trigger and the FFs have been mentioned. Lufia I & II. Earthbound. Secrent of Evermore and Secret of Mana. Illusion of Gaia, The Legend of Zelda, Bahamut Lagoon, Breath of Fire I - III, the Dragon Quests, Harvest Moon, Ogre Battle, Tales of Phantasia, Super Mario RPG... And as far as Action\Adventure games, what did SEGA have to compare with Super Metroid, Contra III, U.N. Squadron, Mega Man X - XIII, Donkey Kong Country I - III, etc ????
Nintendo always did, and always will 'STOMP' SEGA _________________ yer a towel |

But Genesis had "Blast Processing".
Yeah, that marketing term that meant nothing. |
