I watched about half of this and fucking dug the hell out of it. It's entertaining as hell. The way the main character gets into jail cracked me up.

I think we're all in agreement, then. The only fair thing to do is to only let NMEwithin review Franco and Messiahman's work. He'd cut to the truth and offer a fair and balanced opinion.

We don't know it yet. We're still not even sure when it's airing on Spike. There seems to be a pretty large disconnect between the production side and the distribution side -- meaning nobody knows nothin'.

It's still available OnDemand right now, at least on my Time Warner cable system. According to the comments we've found online from viewers who've seen Ring of Death already, fight movie fans are loving it! People seem to dig the pace, the fights choreography, the characters, the level of violence, and the overall "guy"-ness of it. That's what we were aiming for, so I hope people like it. As it stands, it's the one I'm most happy with, by far.

As far as Grave Misconduct? No clue when you'll be able to see it. It's already been available OnDemand and now it's awaiting airing on Lifetime, then it's off to an afterlife on DVD.

I feel like these movies are like airplanes, circling the runway for a landing, but they've got to wait until all the other traffic that came before them lands first. David and I keep checking departures and arrivals, so we'll put out word as soon as we hear anything.

From what I've read Spike TV also has a ninja movie in the works starring Casper Van Dien. If true, the comedy just writes itself.

We dodged that bullet. For real. I agree!

Although the ninja aspect would have pleased David at first. Ultimately, I like prison movies more. Plus, I like our cast way more. I haven't seen what they came up with, but I'm glad we got the one we got. They're both cool sub-genres, though, and hopefully we'll get a shot eventually on a ninja flick. I wouldn't say no if it looked serious. I'm game for anything and everything, high-brow to low-brow.

Yes, it's finally happening! Spike TV will air Ring Of Death at 10pm EST on Friday, October 17, 2008 in USA.

Check your local listings for any differences.
