Someone please explain to me why I cannot stop playing this game?
I feel like such a little bitch when having that tiny guitar control strapped around me. I make sure all the windows are shut and no one can see in when I am playing.
It's all Kryten Syxx's fault.
Fuck, dude. Just fuck. |

I finally finished the game in Medium mode (all 5 stars, including all the independent songs). I am almost finished with Hard mode with only the first eight songs 5-starred at this point.
I cannot wait to see how seemingly impossible Bark at the Moon on Expert is gonna be. I have seen the videos people have posted on YouTube, but you truly have to play the game to appreciate the guys mastering Expert mode songs.
This game has gotten more play this year than ANY other game I started in 2006. _________________ The Dreamin' Demon |

Bark at the Moon on Medium almost ruined my chances to unlock everything. I sailed through almost every other song in one try, but that one...I want to go kick Jake E. Lee in the shin.
Some of the songs, though, I think play BETTER on Hard. (I haven't tried Expert yet, I mostly just do Quick Play lately as part of my workout.) Some of the easy and medium stuff skips important parts of the song, especially on the faster stuff like Cowboys From Hell. I always actually pick on the notes that are missing and get a miss registered. Hard is monstrous on the solos, but on the rhythm parts it's much easier on the fast stuff because it actually closely mimics the song. _________________ Mr. Dark

I love this game - although I agree with Creepy. I feel like an idiot playing it in front of people.
I can't wait for GH2. |

Mr. Dark, I agree. A lot of the songs do play easier on Hard mode than they did Medium for the exact reasons you described. Getting 5 stars on Bark at the Moon on Medium took me longer than any other song.
I have almost quit trying to 5-star songs in Hard mode as it is turning the game that I have fun with, into a game I want to through the guitar through the nearest window. _________________ The Dreamin' Demon |

Guitar Hero is absolutely amazing!! When I first read about the game in the magazines I knew I had to have it.
I gotta say though that Clive is my favorite of the guitar heros... Everyone has a favorite... Who is yours? |

The metal guy.
He's basically me at 19 or 20.
Except my hair was poofier, and I played bass.
But I RAWKED. _________________ Mr. Dark

Right on! I always wanted to learn to play the bass... Then my parents stuck me in piano classes... *sighs* that's the breaks...
I liked the metal guy too... When he gets into his wild headbang mode it's pretty cool to watch. |
