I haven't seen the book come through yet.
Lots of Clive's stuff is sexually driven, though. _________________ Insert something funny here |

I know- but this was supposed to be specifically sexually themed. The story is about 2 male/demon lovers. I just want to know what the story is about and if anyone has read it- but if it's not out yet I guess that answers my question.
I haven't had a chance to read any of Clive yet- but this sounded like a book I'd like to start off with. |

I havent heard of any new books that sound like that. Could be a short story maybe I know that he had a story in a few collections this year.
When I started out reading Clive Barker I chose the Books Of Blood first, they have his greatest (imo) stories. Also Coldheart Canyon is another of my favorites. _________________ My DVDs MySpace |

Yeah, The books of blood are one of the greatest collection of stories ever written.
I would start with something like CABAL or In the Flesh, too. _________________ Insert something funny here |

I haven't heard of this new book, but it sounds interesting.
I started with The Thief of Always. It's a rather easy read compared to his other books. The Great and Secret Show is great. I really liked that one. _________________ v o c e s _ p e r d i e r o n

| As far as I know Clive's next new book is supposed to be "The Scarlet Gospels" which is the death of Pinhead. |

Yeap, but it's been slated to come out for over a year now and it's basically dust in the wind, no offical word for an actual release date. Barker is one of the few authors I know to drop off the face of the planet for writing and movies. |

According to an interview with Barker earlier this month, The Scarlet Gospels will be coming out in the autumn of 2007. Barker was working on the final draft of that book late last year but he added so much to the story and had to do another final draft. He's on page 2100 of 3000 handwritten pages, and he expects to deliver it to his publisher toward the end of 2006. _________________ His friend demanding what scarlet was, the blind man answered: It was like the sound of a trumpet. - John Locke, Human Understanding |

Clive is my fave. I loved the Books of Blood books. I even have some of the comics from the Books of Blood series. _________________ Threw you the obvious. And you flew with it on your back.
