I think it's hysterical. I think the almost universally negative reaction to it is even funnier. _________________ I AM TELEVISION!

I've seen it a couple of times. I really am indifferent to it. Obviously its better than the anime they've shoved into the adult swim line-up. And clearly its better than The Squidbillies and that Groovanians special they did a few years back. But it still pales in comparison to most of the licensed shows (Home Movies, Mission Hill, Oblongs, ect) and most of the original shows (ATHF, ect). I don't mind it, but I wish they'd redirect their time and money to creating new episodes of a better abandoned series like The Critic or Undergrads. _________________ Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad says, “there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.” |

I liked "The Critic" when it was on, but it suffers from the same problem as "South Park" and "The Simpsons": it's severely dated.
Plus, after that Subway commerical, Lovitz can eat a dick. _________________ I AM TELEVISION!

I love strange humor, but put me in the "I don't get it" category for this one. I find it even more odd that it's from the 'Mr Show' gang and it fails to make laugh.
Of course, I never cracked a smile during 'Family Guy' or 'Home Movies' either. |

| I never liked the show. I couldn't even find the one with Jack Black to be funny (the one with the bear traps). I couldn't get into it all. When it came to Adult Swim before I got rid of cable, I enjoyed Oblongs, ATHF, Harvey Birdman, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, The Brak Show, Robot Chicken, and Cowboy Bebop. |

True, but that's just an example. Something like 3 South or Dr. Katz (which they showed way back) wouldn't be dated. _________________ Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad says, “there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.” |

It's just a different kind of comedy. I'd imagine coming up with facial expressions and body language that come across through blue stills is hard work. I'm a bit biased, though, because I've been a Bob Odenkirk fan for a long time. I even like Melvin Goes to Dinner. I'd like to see his new film. _________________ I AM TELEVISION!

Two things:
1) As great as Odenkirk is, Melvin Goes to Dinner was middle of the road at best.
2) As per new film, which announced project are you refering to? _________________ Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad says, “there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.” |

I don't remember. He did a diary about it on the Bob and David site. Wasn't he making a film of the novel "The Fuck Up," some time back? I haven't been keeping up. I used to post on Brian Posehn's message board all the time, but I haven't had a chance to go back. _________________ I AM TELEVISION!
