He's since moved to Smackdown (not that it matters, wrestlers appear on any show regardless if they are on it or not) and won the WWE Championship with help from The Major Bros, who now go by their real names Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. They are a little seen (at least to me) tag team. He was fighting Batista for the belt in a no DQ match, and they dressed up as Edge and came out from under the ring and Batista beat them and thought he had Edge down but then Edge got a spear on him and won the belt. Also, Edge has hooked up with Vickie Guerrero who is the GM of Smackdown.

*SIGH*

And now back to the status quo with SuperCena back.

Midcard forever for you, Y2J. So much for "saving" us.

I watched a little "best of" the Rock on youtube a couple days ago. Now I know why I never bother with wwf anymore. Too bad, because there was a time I couldn't wait to see what happens next week. I just wonder what happend? Did they change writers? Give up? Dummy down? well, we still got the memories of Stone Cold, Rock, J2Y, Dudleys, ect.

Exactly the way I feel.

I swear, my buddies and I used to have RAW parties every Monday night. We would grill, drink and be merry till Raw came on. Especially in WWE's hay day.

And on PPV Sunday's. Oh man. It was an all day thing.

Now I just can't get myself up to care anymore. Maybe it's because I have a family now, and I'm no longer single with time to kill. Maybe it's the writing. Maybe it's the lack of Mega Stars.

I dunno.

Or maybe it's the fact that much like the rest of us who fondly remember the days of Stone Cold, The Rock, and the nWo (in wCw).....you're tired of being flat out insulted every week by the stupid booking, stale main event, and flat out retarded bullshit the WWE provides.

I hate the Spinner Belt, I hate "marine" John Cena, I hate Randy Bore-ton as the WWE Champion, and I hate the burial of Y2J.

Here was the guy that should have rightfully had Jeff Hardy's shot at the Title...and he's stuck in midcard hell with a flabby and apathetic JBL? What the fuck? I mean, Cena had HOW MANY chances against Edge? And Jericho, the returning "Savior" only gets the one?

Fuckin' a......getting angry just writing about it.

There there, it's gonna be OK. Well, not really, Wrestling is pretty much dead. But does anyone have/seen the WWE channel? I heard there was some kind of 24hr station with nothing but classic stuff on. I'd pay money to see some good stuff again.

i have it, its well worth the little money thery charge for it. They have a feature called the monday night wars where twice a month they play raw and nitro back to back in chronological order. They also do a round table discussion once a month or so on different topics (specific wrestlers, and things of the like)

Yeah, who carries it?

Sounds awesome.

I've got DN, but they don't carry it. At least I don't think they do.

I *think* that Charter Cable here in Oregon carries it.

Be funny if somehow the subscribers to WWE 24/7 ended up outnumbering the current RAW viewers.

Mark my words: Cena's next year plus long reign will be the one that's the dagger in the WWE's heart....especially with a recession looming in the economy, and people having less disposable income to throw away on wrestling shows whose outcome is NEVER in doubt.

I KNOW it's all scripted and planned out way in advance, but come on. With Cena's last reign, all you had to do was see his name on the card defending that Cracker Jack toy of a belt, and you KNEW he was going to win, and win, and win......

Memo to WWE: It's no longer "overcoming the odds" when your underdog wins every single goddamn time.

I don't hate the MAN, as much as I hate what the WWE is doing with the character.

If you're going to dumb down Cena's character to make him a draw to little kids, then what the fuck are you doing with the half naked DIVAs and Vince's bare ass on every fucking show?

Pick one or the other, either you cater to little kids like you did in the 80's, or you cater to young adults like you did in the later 90's. There IS no middle ground here.

Unfortunately, with SuperCena destroying everything in his path once again, it seems like another year long reign is all but inevitable.

*SIGH*

I bet Chris Jericho is really wondering why the hell he came back right now.

So, yeah, you know how Smackdown has been on the CW and stuff?

Yeah, that's over.

I can honestly say, I didn't see that coming. Especially considering that it's one of their highest rated shows.

My programming director is thinking MyNetwork. It'd certainly be the highest rated show there.
