I'm watching the old special feature-less version. As opposed to the new special feature-less version.

The new one has a newly remastered transfer as opposed to the old one which had an older remastered transfer.

Did you guys get the new 25th anniversary edition with all of the special features? The two hour documentary. The commentary track with Tobe Hooper and Steven Spielberg. The reunion commentary track with the cast. The deleted scenes. Early effects tests footage. Trailers from all over the world. Such an amazing special edition. It was so worth the wait.

Not yet but I will be ordering it next week. Very Happy
Just so you know, none of that is in there. I was being sarcastic. Embarassed

I know. But I am still getting it. I need a new copy anyway. Laughing

This is my first time watching the new disc. I will say off the bat I am noticing a better picture. It does seem more detailed and a bit more colorful.

Just checking. I didn't want you to think it had all of these great features and then you get it and then kick me in the balls because there is nothing on it. Laughing

It's been a while since I watched this dvd. It's grainy and there is alot of specks and noticeable print damage. Hopefully the new remaster corrects that.
