Another funny story...

I was recently sequestered on a jury for a murder trial. There was a woman in 217 at the holiday inn. I was like "OH SHIT!" and she looked at me! I was like, if you go in there and there's evil twins, an old lady with her skin falling off in the shower, a guy in a bear suit getting ready to engage in fellatio OR Jack Nicholson, Stay the F*** away lady!"

She had nightmares that night.

LMFAO!

There She Blows!

During the scene where Wendy brings Jack breakfast in bed, it can be seen in the reflection of the mirror that Jack's T-shirt says "Stovington" on it. While not mentioned in the film, this is the name of the school that Jack used to teach at in the Stephen King novel.

No, but that damn book I just read was soooo scary. And the posession started sort of like this. Just read it. Apparently the guy researched the hell out of demonic posession. Seriously disturbing read.

The throwing around of the tennis ball inside the overlook hotel was Jack Nicholson's idea. The script originally only specified that, "Jack is not working".

"A Good and Happy Child" by Justin Evans
Most amazing read I've had all summer. They're already in movie talks with Paramount. It was scary. It was creepy. And you CARED about the characters. It leaves you thinking. Can't recommend it enough.
