Tonight, 1:05 am on 4/8, Starz (their drama channel I believe - not sure), is showing Grindhouse in its entirety with both movies and the trailers in between. At least that's what my cable listings say.

this says it's later http://www.starz.com/appmanager/seg/s?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=search_page

I missed it on the big screen, so I'm recording to see the faux trailers.

If anyone cares ...

They did this earlier (towards the end of March, I believe) and although I didn't catch it that time, I might check it out this time.

Then again, I was one of the few who went out to see GRINDHOUSE in theaters, so I really don't feel like I NEED to see it as a double feature again.

If anything, it pisses me off that Tarantino would do the double-feature thing for this movie, but he split KILL BILL up and made us wait a while between installments. Seriously, I really didn't care about KILL BILL by the time Vol. 2 rolled around, and had forgotten the story almost entirely.

That, and DEATH PROOF really bored me, as far as the films themselves go. DOOMSDAY would have been a better companion piece to PLANET TERROR.

I was also one of the few who went to theaters to see it.

I saw the complete version and it was still damn fun to sit through.

Death Proof is still my favorite of the two.

I'd love to see the trailers. Too bad I don't have Starz.

We saw this in the theater.

I hated Death Proof then, hate it now. Love Planet Terror, it was just fun.

Even though I disagree, the extended version is awful.

It holds our hands a lot, and includes some truly tedious moments.

I think I'm the only person, while expecting more from the Werewolf Woman trailer, thought it was fun and liked it.

Everyone else seems to hate it the most.

I don't hate the trailer.

I just think it's the weakest.

In a group of Edgar Wright, Tarantino, Rodriguez, and Eli Roth, it's odd to see that Zombie's is the most self-indulgent installment. We get it Zombie, you're married to Sheri Moon!

But it didn't remind me of any grindhouse trailer I've ever seen.

My uncle who used to go to grindhouses said the "Don't!" trailer is the most accurate homage he saw in the whole affair.

I'm surprised he didn't say MACHETE was.....I have a couple of discs of nothing but the old "grindhouse" trailers, and to me, MACHETE was the most similar to them, although DON'T does rank right up there, too.

I agree with you 100% on Zombie's trailer, though.

Don't tell my uncle what to do.
