I've been looking forward to Two Worlds for what seems like forever. Then it happened. I saw it -- the developer logo -- Southpeak Games. My heart sank.

The reason being is that I feel Southpeak is the only developer that has ever lied to me through it's advertising. Let's go back to their latest release: Monster Madness.

As I stated before --

The biggest flaw of Monster Madness (other than the horrid vehicle control, character control, and flighty cameras) is that it has no online Adventure Mode. Ponder that if you will -- A top down shooter like the classic Zombies Ate My Neighbors that can do four player co-op offline in Adventure Mode yet online -- we get standard quickly thrown together crap that's void of any real co-op fun despite the back of the box reading --

* Up to 4 players can team up on one system, or take the battle online together!

Fucking bait and switch I tell ya!

I've done a lot of reading up on Two Worlds lately and apparently just like Monster Madness you cannot play co-op through the games main storyline. There's just a series of multi-player yadda yadda. That and there's also been a lot of talk about the games horrid control on horseback or lizard (horrid controls on a vehicle? read: Monster Madness) and man does that sound painfully familiar.

Forever now I've been under the impression that Two Worlds would be like Oblivion but online, just like I thought Monster Madness would have been like Zombies Ate My Neighbors but online, and apparently it's just not so. Why can't this developer take advantage of true online co-op? These games seem tailor made for that type of experience, especially Monster Madness.

Again -- Fuck you Southpeak games. FUCK YOU!

Yeah, I don't think I'll be buying any Southpeak games after hearing about Monster Madness.

Every developer has their bastard games they stick the lower tier team on ... Two Worlds doesn't look like that case.
