I'm no navy person, my mother was 82nd Airborne (part of the first group of women in the unit as a matter of fact). Was going off of pics and such I found online for apparently a rear helipad on the cruisier.
The references I meant were for horror with the character names:
Joe Brandner --- Gary Brandner, author of THE HOWLING
Carl Landis --- John Landis, director of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON
Alex Wiseman --- Len Wiseman, director of UNDERWORLD
Stuart Waggner --- George Waggner, director of THE WOLF MAN
Captain Talbot --- Claude Rains character in THE WOLF MAN
Mark Dante --- Joe Dante, director of THE HOWLING
Sort of my nod towards some werewolf related stuff.
Silly question if anyone knows. How does one determine the difference between a short story and a novella? Is there a page number minium or something? |

Yeah, a novela's generally over 30,000 depending on the publisher. |
