Penciled by Sean Phillips New cover art by Arthur Suydam. On an Earth shockingly similar to the Marvel Universe's, an alien virus has mutated all of the World's Greatest Heroes into flesh eating monsters! It took them only hours to destroy life as we know it - but what happens when they run out of humans to eat?! Follow their search for more food, and witness the arrival of the Silver Surfer! Release date August 9th and collects issues 1-5.

I've seen these before at comic shows but I haven't picked one up. Are they as good as they look?

yes they are as good as they look but i have one question,how come we NEVER really see them ture into zombies! we only see them AFTER they have been turned into zombies!

It's really one of the funniest comic reads I've had in a long time. Kirkman hit it outta the park with this one, and the final frame in the last issue is a killer. I'll be picking up this swanky hardcover as well.

I so pre-orderd this...Kirkman rocks my personal casbah...can someone remind me why Steve Niles is the current reigning horror comic writer? Kirkman deserves the title!
