The cabin was an adandoned cabin that they found. They cleaned out the cow dung and shot the film over the course of a few months. With segments shot back in Michigan. The basement is not part of the cabin but is actually the basement in Sam Raimi's parent's home.

On an oddly personal note I was marching through some woods this morning that look similar to the ones in the movie and also used to be the site of satanic worship....that's Michigan for ya.

Shocked It's a tv show on WB it's pretty fuckin cool because the one character says all this horror stuff and alot of it if you aren't into horror big time you wouldn't even catch it. Laughing
