so how about that season two finale? I did NOT expect the Others to give Walt back to Michael and just let them go!
I really wanted to see Sawyer kick the shit out of Zeke, too, but alas. Is it me, or does Sawyer get the short end of the stick in a fight way too much? _________________ mods, kindly delete my account |

Who do you think survived the Hatch explosion? You gotta figure with a blast like that, all three of those guys (Eko, Locke, and Desmond) can't walk out of there. Killing Desmond off would be the easiest, but then I've heard rumblings that he'll be returning for season 3. Of course, he could always come back in flashbacks I guess... _________________ "He thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts."

None of them are dead. All will be back in Season 3, and Desmond will now have major character status. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

I moved about a year ago, and stopped watching Lost. I don't have cable now (we only watch DVDs, etc.)...so I missed Season 2 completely...
Can anyone tell me, or point me to somewhere that has a complete breakdown of Season 2?
I want to know any secrets, or suprises I've missed over the year.
Thanks. _________________ Damn! |

Season 2 was released on DVD last week, dude. Honestly, I'd suggest picking it up and checking it out rather than relying on breakdowns -- the show is so densely packed that breaking it down episode to episode is somewhat futile. A LOT happened over the second season. Trust me, it's worth checking out for yourself. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

Gotcha, thanks. I'm considering picking it up. If the episodes are that dense and intertwined, I think that's the best choice, as you recommended. _________________ Damn! |

It's going for thirty-five bucks at some places, and I think it's well worth it. Plus you've still got a month to watch it before Season 3 begins. You won't regret it, as there are enough moments of jaw-dropping coolness as to put most other series to shame. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

ok, I'm most of the way through Season Two, a lot of which I had missed; I am of the opinion that the French lady is an Other, as she captures "Henry Gale" and basically delivers him to the survivors... if she was really just a crazy lady on the island with guns, explosives and crossbows, would the leader of the Others REALLY risk getting killed in an elaborate ruse to get into the hatch and play mindgames? or maybe he was accidentally caught... somehow, I find that very hard to believe, though, especially as his outfit matches his b.s. story... _________________ mods, kindly delete my account |

I haven't been this eager for a season premiere since the second season of TWIN PEAKS. Damn right I'll be watching. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

Let's get this discussion going again in the right place.
Thoughts on the premiere? |

This is my first post here so, please, be gentle.
I dug the premiere, I've been curious to see what was up with the Others and my only complaints were that the episode seemed too short and, having watched the last 2 seasons on dvd, the commercial breaks were annoying. Otherwise, the series is still doing well and is keeping me interested and guessing.
For some strange reason, I'm getting a very strong "Foundation series" vibe from the show. I can't quite put my finger on why but I am. |
