Huge fan!
This has actually become my favorite in the franchise, knocking RE2 to...well, number two. Great graphics, awesome gameplay and one hell of a great plot. And I was one of the nay-sayers when I heard there would be no zombies. Man, those villagers were actually creepy as hell... _________________ Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. |

| It's definitely the best Resident Evil game of all time. but not the best series ever created. That award could possibly go to the Halo series, |

Love it... took awhile to get used to... still haven't completed it though... I'm stuck at that part where the girl has to sneak around unarmed by the monks. _________________ An environment of pervasive credulity is incompatible with a healthy democracy. |

I love this game, I rented it once, but never really got around to renting it a second time. _________________ I'm made of metal

5 will be simply insane I think. That is one I am definitely waiting for. In Re4 one time I was playing in the underground area where there are two chainsaw ganados up in that room to the left. I had killed everyone in the main room and was walking around and stepped on a bear trap. Thought I had cleared all of them and I screamed like a little baby. Damn that was unsettling. |

| I've also beaten it 4 times...Still great fun each time. The only RE game that comes close is RE2. |

This morning I finally beat it, I started it on a different system, but picked up right where I left off. _________________ I'm made of metal

i was skeptical at first when i heard there were no zombies, and Umbrella was gone. But once i played it i understood why the changes were necessary. It's by far the best game in the series. It's probably my second favorite game of all time, followed either by Super Metroid or Metroid Prime 1. _________________ darling, the only ghoul in the house is you.

Definately one of the best in the series, along with the original Director's Cut on PSX and the remake for GC. RE4 is just insanely well done and has great replay value. I couldn't put my GC controller down when I first got this baby. I think I completed the game around 10 hours, the Ada Wong mission was fairly simple, but the Mercenary mode is extremely challenging. Those beefed up chainsaw Garados with the chained together, dual-blade saws coming at you full force is something to behold.
I really need to pick up the LE chainsaw controller too.
