FLA is an industrial band that creates a horrific soundscape of post-apocalyptic Earth both on their studio releases as well as in concert!

Their new effort, "Artificial Soldier" does justice to end of the world scenarios.

Drowning, being buried alive, world war 3...these are all topics of masterfully programmed digital mayhem. It is the perfect soundtrack to your worst nightmare!

I highly recommend the following FLA albums:

Tactical Neural Implant
Hardwired
Implode
Epitaph
Artificial Soldier

I like them both, and they both have new albums...although FLA's album is out and I'm not sure about the Puppy's album.

All I know is that the new FLA album, "Artificial Soldier," rocks! Their Philly tour was also great.

Love Frontline. Said it a million times and I'll say it a million more.

Implode has loads of chilling moments. Synthetic Forms is one song I always cite when discussing atmospheric tracks.

Love the cover art on this album too. That's creepy.

I know I've said this before too, but any fans of Frontline who haven't already, owe it to themselves to check out Hocico. They've got some genuinely disturbing songs too.

Oh yeah. I love Skinny Puppy too. Though "Thre Greater Wrong of the Right" just didn't do anything for me.

I've got Implode and was really surprised by it. For some odd reason I had been expecting it to be a lot heavier, but the it grew on me over time and now I dig the hell out of it. Good, ominious stuff.

I've always meant to look into more of their work but it's one of those things I never quite got around to doing. Was never sure where to go with their stuff after Implode, so thanks for the suggestions!

Yep! I agree... I saw Skinny Puppy a couple times back in the day and Ogre had dead people on meat racks and he kept spinning them around and ripping dolls heads off and lighting them on fire then throwing them in the audience. They had 2 large screens of intestines nd Ogre had some kinda mechanical demon comming out of his back that kept moving... Great shit!

Oh yeah, Front Line Assembly kicks ass too!

Well put.

Skinny Puppy's live act back in the day was second to none. Their videos also kick ass. Well, some of them at least. Testure should be on the list for any horror fan's favorite videos. Why don't they make them like that anymore...? That's been one of my favorite songs/videos for almost twenty years and it still creeps me out at times.

Agree withose those who said that frontline assembly is cool, also agree that skinny puppy is better. If the two bands toured together I'd go see them. Of course if either band played anywhere near here I'd go either way anyway.
