Phillip Glass didn't want to score the film at first because he didn't want to do a horror film. But after Bernard Rose showed him a rough cut of the film, he decided that there was more to the film then he originally thought.

It was shot in Chicago. I live in Chicago. Shocked

The place they go a little later in the movie was a real dangerous place that was just outside of the city. Since then it's been closed done which is good because it was copntrolled by gangs. It was scary to drive by it. A friend of mine once saw a group of guys carrying a shot gun running across the courtyard. Shocked
