While we're talking about remakes, just let me add that I was disappointed in TCM: The Beginning. Just didn't really like it.

And on the same remake note, the Wicker Man remake was so bad I threw up.

And on a similar note, I judo kicked a woman today in my bear suit. Is everyone having a good evening?

You're livin' the American dream!

Bear suit or ... bare suit?

Both? What if I didn't have anything on underneath?

There wasn't any sex and the extra bit at the end sucked hard. I didnt' like it either. I did enjoy seeing the reactions of a mainstream audience to the way it ended just before the really stupid ending part. I hope that made sense. I'm trying not to give the end away.

What did everyone think of the remake?
I liked it. It stayed a little too close to the original for me, so there were no real surprises. It was still good though. Better than most of the remakes I've seen lately.
I'm kind of in the middle of where you are. I didn't like it as much because it was too close. I didn't get into it as much as I'd like. But there were many things I liked about it. I did like that they didn't shy aware from the brutality which was part of the impact of this one. I still prefer this one.

I really liked that one. Embarassed

Shocked I liked it too. But I don't consider it a remake ... It did explain how the family came to be but only regarding the movie from 2004.
I saw it for free so I felt I got my money's worth. Laughing

I wish I could have joined in on the festivities. I was supposed to see Borat tonight, but it wasn't showing in the area, and I didn't have Hills either. I ended up watching the first Friday the 13th with some friends, because they wanted to see that, as if I hadn't watched it enough in October.

I didn't see it but feel free to tell me the stupid part since I'm not really planning on watching it. Wink

I'd use my mother as a decoy. Actually I do that already. Laughing

Specifically, the last 2 minutes of the movie
