I think Robert Downey Jr. is probably one of the best actors we have working today. I really didn't expect it at all, but I think it's pretty badass. It's going to be really interesting. _________________ Sonny Fernandez Films is now on MySpace! But will be be sporting the Tony facial hair? As long as he doesn't pawn in the Iron Man suit for drugs I am fine with it. _________________ "Well, I do believe that it could have been, and it actually was, maybe, i think so, may ... yes, I do believe it was the boogey man!" - Creepy Loomis |

It's a great, ballsy choice. The movie just officially entered my radar space. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

Do you still think Downey has the "star" power to attract people into the theatres? _________________ Damn! |

I have no problems with this.
I'd rather have a great actor who can take this role instead of a short man with a high pitched voice. _________________ ----------

They should have just gone with Ernie Hudson. _________________ "Well, I do believe that it could have been, and it actually was, maybe, i think so, may ... yes, I do believe it was the boogey man!" - Creepy Loomis |

People thought that Tobe Maguire wasn't a big enough name to play Spider-Man..........
Superman is usually played by an unknown.........
Nobody bought Michael Keaton as Batman.........
Comic book movies have a built in audience. The only thing they need any name actors for is to bring in people who don't give a shit about comics, or are just casual fans. |

Someone's gotta play James "Rhody" Rhodes. But I bet it'll be Michael Clarke Duncan. _________________ Kate, Honey, I may be a bastard, but I'm not a fucking bastard.
