Has anyone on the staff or on the board actually read the magazine?

Is it any good?

Is it worth the subscription?

Looks like an interesting magazine.

The magazine rocks! It is full color from cover to cover and it covers a lot of things in the genre that the other horror mags don't really focus on. The other mags try to be news mags first and let's face it we get our news here and on the web. By the time a mag hits the stands it is old news. Horror Hound covers news but it has so much more from toys, masks, retrospectives, DVDs, music, video games, collectibles it is just packed with cool shit. It is currently the only horror mag I get. -Clark

I've only seen one issue but it certainly impressed the hell out of me. Like Sean said, full color, lots of goodies covered, and a great personality front to back.

Your call as to whether or not it's worth a sub, but I definetly recommend picking up an issue if you see one and giving it a shot. Especially now that HHG is part of it!

Well, you guys sold me.

I'm re-subbing to Fango, and then subbing to this.

Good luck to the folks there.

Very Happy

I saw this last month, and picked it up with my copy of Rue Morgue. Articles are good, but the real joy is in the sheer amount devoted to visuals of horror movies, toys, and art. It really is impressive. The article on TCM2 was great (although it's weird reading about Edwin Neal and him giving a short interview that makes him sound like his character in TCM wasn't so much a character), and the stuff on the actual masks from the original TCM was pretty impressive.

Between this and RM, I get a well-rounded horror fix. Can't wait to read the article, Sean!

I agree with everyone here. I picked up my first issue just yesterday and I loved it. Now,my holy trinity is complete! (Rue Morgue,Horror Hound and Fango) Mr. Green
