I could probably name a thousand because classic pop songs are my favorite "genre" of music.

What are the ones you might be caught singing in your car, in the shower or drunk at karaoke night?

(Some of my 70ish list)

01 Fool (If you think it's over) - Chris Rea
02 We don't talk anymore - Cliff Richard
03 Deja vu - Dionne Warwick
04 September - Earth, Wind and Fire
05 If I can't have you - Yvonne Eliman
06 Summer Breeze - Seals & Croft
07 Bad blood - Neal Sedaka
08 Jack and Jill - Ray Parker, Jr.
09 Sister Golden Hair - America
10 Just an old fashioned love song - Three Dog Night

Also ** I will survive - Gloria Gaynor - I have performed this one VERY DRUNK at many a karaoke night. Embarassed

For those of you who do not know me, my musical tastes are firmly planted in the metal\grunge\doom\stoner genre. Here is a quick list:

Duran Duran - Girls on Film
Berlin - Now it's My Turn
Abba - Dancing Queen
Human League - The Lebanon
Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street
Olivia Newton John - A Little More Love
Supertramp - Logical Song
Diana Ross - Upside Down
Foreigner - Urgent
Paul McCartney & Wings - With A Little Luck

I could actually go on and on....serioulsy, I could list HUNDREDS. There are a slew of songs that go completely against my grain, but for some reason or another, be it nostalgia, a lyric, the way a peice in the song is arranged; I like.

The Talking Heads kick all kinds of ass. As do The Clash, who someone above mentioned. Pleasures certainly, but far from guilty.

My top ten guilty pleasures have to be whatever seems catchy to me while listening to the hip-hop stations. I know it goes against everything i believe in but hey it is catchy.
