James Ellroy kicks ass. If this is anywhere near as good as the novel it will be one of the best movies of the year.

I'm a big Brain DePalma fan, and I hope this is a return to form for him, it looks right up his alley. It should end up being one of the best movies of the year.

I saw it last night. It was interesting. I would've had a better viewing experience if this asshole and his skank stfu during it. I actually said really loud " You have to be fucking kidding me stfu through the whole fucking movie you talked" Well not only did they stop talking but the whole theater was quiet it was pretty funny. But anyway the movie I liked it. A bit drawn out though. I won't give away anything until/if more people post about it.

I bought the book but decided to read it after I see the movie out of fear that the movie would be completed ruined if I read it first.
